Pond Shield is a non-toxic epoxy sealer designed especially for Koi ponds, water gardens, fountains and waterfalls. It's strong but flexible nature resists mimicking hairline cracks that can form in concrete or masonry over time.
Application: Should be applied by a squeegee, and then a roller. Mix both parts A (2 parts)and B (1 part) for 2 minutes and apply. Follow all included directions.
Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be clean. Concrete should cure 7-28 days and then be acid washed prior to applying coating. Other non masonry types of material should be abraded with 60 grit sandpaper. Patch all holes and cracks prior to applying the coating. Pond Shield resin can be mixed with colloidal silica or micro fibers as a thickening agent for filling cracks or holes.
Cure Time: Varies - At 72-75F degrees cures in 1 hour.
Coverage: 60 square feet at 10 mils per 1-1/2 Qt. Kit.
